Our client, a leading real estate firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their dynamic team. The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s overall financial goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements for real estate transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or profitability improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments (such as operations and property management) to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, real estate regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or other ERP systems).
• Strong understanding of real estate accounting, including property management, lease accounting, and real estate transactions.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
