Job Title: Partner – Capital Raising & Investment Promotion Lead
Location: Abuja
Salary: 1M- 1.2M

Overview:
Our client is seeking a strategic leader to drive capital raising and investment promotion efforts. This role involves securing funding for corporate clients, startups, and infrastructure projects, while positioning the company as a leading investment advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities:
Capital Raising & Advisory:
•    Develop and execute strategies for equity and debt financing.
•    Structure deals (IPOs, private placements, syndicated loans, etc.).
•    Engage with DFIs, PE/VC firms, and HNIs.
•    Lead due diligence, investor roadshows, and negotiations.

Investment Promotion & FDI Facilitation:
•    Attract FDI into Nigeria’s key sectors (tech, energy, health, etc.).
•    Partner with government agencies and organize investor summits.
•    Match investors with local opportunities.

Business Development & Partnerships:
•    Build networks with investors, SWFs, and institutions.
•    Represent Onyx at global investor events.
•    Secure mandates for capital raising and advisory services.

Investment Research & Intelligence:
•    Support insights with sector research, policy briefs, and data-driven reports.
•    Monitor market trends, regulations, and risks.

Requirements:
•    10+ years in investment banking, PE/VC, or finance.
•    Proven capital raising and deal structuring experience.
•    Strong investor network and deal-closing skills.
•    CFA/MBA/advanced finance degree.
•    Experience in investment advisory or PE/VC firms.
•    Strong knowledge of Africa’s investment landscape.
