Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in asset management. The role focuses on driving growth by customizing investment solutions, managing assets, and building relationships with institutional and retail clients. The ideal candidate will also explore new business opportunities and strengthen strategic partnerships. 

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of all products amongst institutional and retail clients

• Customize investment solutions to suit the investment needs of prospects and clients

• Monitor customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery

• Develop and broaden institutional and strategic partnership business opportunities within Nigeria and across other African countries

• Explore and win new businesses to achieve mutually agreed sales targets and KPIs

• Develop and assist in executing sales activities for investment team meetings, roadshows, campaigns, searches, data requests, presentations, due diligence visits, and ongoing relationship management efforts

• Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients, leading to new mandates or injections of funds

• Build relationships with key decision-makers within potential organizations

• Generate quality assets for the company and manage existing and new clients

• Consistently generate low/medium-cost liabilities to fund assets

• Responsible for customizing investment solutions to meet the investment needs of prospects and clients.

Requirement

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a Business Development professional with an Asset Management firm

• A first degree or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution, a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
