Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and identify new market opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Drive the growth of all products amongst institutional and retail clients
• Customize investment solutions to suit the investment needs of prospects and clients
• Monitor customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery
• Develop and broaden institutional and strategic partnership business opportunities within Nigeria and across other African countries
• Explore and win new businesses to achieve mutually agreed sales targets and KPIs
• Develop and assist in executing sales activities for investment team meetings, roadshows, campaigns, searches, data requests, presentations, due diligence visits, and ongoing relationship management efforts
• Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients, leading to new mandates or injections of funds
• Build relationships with key decision-makers within potential organizations
• Generate quality assets for the company and manage existing and new clients
• Consistently generate low/medium-cost liabilities to fund assets
• Responsible for customizing investment solutions to meet the investment needs of prospects and clients.
Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, in financial services or corporate finance sectors.
• A first degree in marketing, business administration or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution
• Strong understanding of credit support, funds management, and structured transactions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of cultivating relationships across multiple sectors.
• Ability to identify and seize market opportunities, generating leads and driving sales.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities and achieving targets.
