Job Title: HR/Admin Officer

Salary: 200-250k

Location: Lagos

 

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR/Admin Officer to lead and manage our human resources and administrative functions effectively. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and ensuring seamless administrative operations. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in HR practices, organizational management, and people development.

Key Responsibilities:  
•    Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.  
•    Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.  
•    Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.  
•    Collaborate with senior management to align HR and administrative strategies with organizational goals.  
•    Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.  
•    Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth integration of new employees.  
•    Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.  
•    Address employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters professionally.  
•    Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.  
•    Oversee payroll and benefits administration.  
•    Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry standards.  
•    Oversee daily administrative functions, ensuring efficient office operations.  
•    Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance.  
•    Maintain accurate employee and organizational records.  
•    Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation practices.  
•    Prepare and manage the HR and admin budget effectively.  
•    Optimize resource allocation to achieve cost efficiency.

Requirements:  
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

•    Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in HR and administrative roles.  
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
•    Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.  
•    Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.  
•    In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
