Salary: 350k - 450k (Dependent on level of experience) 

We are seeking to hire a lawyer who will help our client navigate the complex legal landscape and ensure compliance with regulations. 

Ideal candidate will provide legal advice and support on a variety of matters, including regulatory compliance, licensing, and data protection. 

Job Description 

. Regulatory compliance: Ensure the company meets compliance standards and regulatory guidelines 

. Legal framework: Establish and maintain the legal framework for the company's operations 

. Legal advice: Provide legal advice on product guidance, licensing, and other legal concerns 

. Contract negotiation: Draft and negotiate contracts with partners, customers, and vendors 

. Intellectual property: Protect the company's intellectual property assets through patents, trademarks, and trade secrets 

. Data privacy: Guide the company in navigating data privacy laws and ensuring compliance with regulations 

. Legal disputes: Represent the company's interests in legal disputes through negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, or litigation 

. Legal research: Conduct legal research to support the company's legal needs 

 Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NBA

- Minimum 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on fintech, financial services, or related industries.

- Strong understanding of financial regulations, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), data protection laws, and consumer protection laws.

- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, with a keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.

- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex legal issues.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Familiarity with emerging technologies in the fintech sector, such as blockchain, AI, and digital currencies, is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
